Attorney Jonathan Backman had a distinguished academic career at Harvard University and Law School. He received his Bachelors of Science in Economics with magna cum laude honors and his law degree with cum laude honors. After finishing school, he clerked two years for a federal judge and then spent 11 years handling Chapter 11 bankruptcy cases for large firms in Chicago.
